2012#17 COMPLETE: Wrote a Haiku at the Expense of Some Seagulls

My haiku was inspired by my backyard, which is currently a pond layered in a sheet of ice.. or patches of ice rather. Today the seagulls have been standing on blocks of ice like little glaciers and it inspired my little haiku:
seagulls on the pond
feet are frozen to the ice
keep flap flap flapping.
Whatcha think? Too literal? Patrick decided to write his in the words of our dog, Napa:
I wake in the day
wishing and hoping to play
with all my dog friends
Don’t worry, we’ll stick to long-form writing from now on.

that, allow me tell you just what exactly did work. Your aurnitohg is pretty powerful and that is possibly the reason why I am making an effort to opine. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Secondly, even though I can notice the leaps in logic you come up with, I am not necessarily sure of how you appear to unite your points which in turn help to make your final result. For right now I shall yield to your position however hope in the near future you connect your dots better.
