Today’s Resolution: Track Something This Week

A new week is upon us. Wouldn’t it be nice to know how many cookies you eat in a week? Or maybe how many cans of soda you drink?

This week choose something to track. It can be health related like your pulse or blood pressure. Food related, like how many times you eat out in a week.

Whatever it is, track the pieces of data that will help you make a decision once the week is done.

Maybe you’ll find that you don’t enough cookies during the week ;)!

I’d love to hear about what your tracking. I’ll be sharing what I track in the comments.

Today’s Resolution: Learn To Dance

Learn To Dance

Some people are blessed with the gift of dance. Other people are born with two left feet (I fall into this category).

Today you’ll learn with help of the internet. Below are a few video clips of dance lessons from YouTube. Feel free to learn a dance that fits your style.

Bonus points to anyone who posts a video of themselves dancing!

Today’s Resolution: Find An Old Notebook

Find an Old Notebook

Finding an old notebook isn’t the resolution. The real resolution starts with what you find in the notebook and the actions you take thereafter.

If you find positive memories and thoughts, be grateful that you have documented the memory.

If you find negative and painful memories. Try to forgive the person that caused you the pain. Once you feel at peace, toss the notebook in the trash. You can even tear the pages out if you find other notes you’d like to keep.

Some people may want to keep these negative memories as a reminder of their past. This is perfectly fine as long as you try to forgive the people or things that made you feel so bad.

Did you find this resolution helpful? Did you find an funny stories you’d like to share? Either way let me know by posting a comment.

Today’s Resolution: Turn the TV Off

I know, for some folks this resolution will be really tough. Keeping the TV off  today may make you crazed but if you take a little time to prepare you’ll get so much more done today. Spend more time with friends and family, or get a couple extra chores done. Heck, maybe there’s a board game that needs to get dusted off?

Do your best to be TV-free today!

Today’s Resolution: Walk Barefoot on Grass

Walk Barefoot on Grass

Walking barefoot on grass is supposed to reduces stress and make you feel good. I tend to believe that because I have fond memories of running barefoot on my parent’s front lawn with not a care in the world!

Today, take a nice stroll through a patch of grass if you can (and some tall carpet if you can’t). Stretch out those toes and feel the earth beneath you.

P.S. I found this link to 125 reason to go barefoot.

Leave a comment and let me know how your walk went!
